Internship Communications & Event Management
While the organisation of Tage der Sonne was my main concern, my internship also included maintaining the society’s social media accounts and website content. To that effect I
revamped visual content guidelines and created templates for a streamlined production process
researched and simplified complex technical and political topics to use in effective social media copywriting
fulfilled a variety of graphic and web design tasks on a day-to-day basis, including the preparation of print data
prepared the society’s bi-monthly newsletter to their members
Weirdest place I’ve worked on this:
Waiting at the airport next to a family who celebrated the grandma’s birthday.

Campaign: Referendum against Construction of new Nuclear Power Plants
After the so-called “Blackout Initiative” was passed by Parliament in early 2026, an alliance of public stakeholders in the green energy sector joined forces to launch a joint referendum to oppose the lifting of the ban on new nuclear power plants.
Over the course of six weeks, I was tasked with supporting this effort in the name of the SSES, arguing in favour of the expansion of renewable energy production and highlighting the risks of relying on nuclear power.
This contributed to a total of 125’000 signatures collected by the alliance members over the course of less than three months. Which is, tellingly, more than the signatures collected by the Blackout Initiative in the first place.
“The sun can do that better”
“In 2017, it was clear: We don’t need new nuclear power plants”
“The energy transition cannot wait until 2050”
“Because renewable energies are actually independent”
“A mix of renewable energy sources ensures reliable supply”
“The future of our energy supply concerns us all”
